Throwback Thursday presents: One of my favorite on screen appearances of my sculptures was my Big Cheese sculpture on Six Feet Under. They used several of my sculptures in multiple episodes, and even had my name on the wall as a participating artist in the gallery scenes. I also got to meet Lauren Ambrose at a party who was super nice and very complimentary about my sculptures.
I just said goodbye to three of my sculptures headed to Dallas. These happen to be some of the best works of my career, and it's a bit like sending off a kid of to college, I would imagine. For my Texan friends, watch for my motorcycle sculpture to be featured at The Haas Moto Museum in Dallas as part of their permanent collection. Grand opening this May. End of crate photos, I promise.

The Big Cheese #4 is a sculpture of a giant wedge of swiss cheese fabricated in welded aluminum by sculptor Bruce Gray. This is one of the five versions of the "Big Cheese" created by Gray so far. It has many bubbles of various diameters overlapping and connecting from one side to another. This sculpture appeared on HBO's Six Feet Under, in several books and magazines, and was mentioned in Ripley's Believe it or Not. See this sculpture revolve and also see the TV stills at:
