Tah Dah! Here is my finished wall sculpture "Red Dot #3." It is 44x44x4, and made from steel, disk brushed stainless steel, and hot roll steel plate. I used copper and various combinations of patinas, as well as red, black, gray, and holographic paints. The fun part of this type of sculpture is that it is meant to evolve and change as the rust spreads and deepen in tone, and the patinas continue to develop. There are three hidden mounting holes covered by parts held on by super strong neodymium magnets.
Welcome to my world. My name is Bruce Gray, and I have been an artist in Los Angeles since 1989. I make kinetic sculptures, giant objects, mobiles, abstract art, paintings, functional art, rolling ball machines and more. My work has been featured at many museums, art galleries, over 40 books, and countless times on TV and in movies.
