I just found out that I have been selected to go ahead with the design phase of the sculpture project for the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital!!! Now I have to design a couple of families of robots for them to choose from. This will include Mom and Dad robots, 2 kid robots, and a dog robot. I can hardly wait to get started! They will be new designs based on my recent and popular robot series.
Welcome to my world. My name is Bruce Gray, and I have been an artist in Los Angeles since 1989. I make kinetic sculptures, giant objects, mobiles, abstract art, paintings, functional art, rolling ball machines and more. My work has been featured at many museums, art galleries, over 40 books, and countless times on TV and in movies.

"Bing" the Robot!
Say hello to "Bing" the Robot! He is 6' 9" tall, single, and enjoys video games and destroying stuff with his ray gun. It took 16 days of working until 1-2 am to get him done in time for his TV debut on "King of the Nerds." This was a difficult sculpture to build because I had to connect steel to aluminum and such. Lots of tap and die work. It weighs a TON!
